One of our favorite things to do at Christmas time is to buy "gifts" through the Gospel for Asia catalog. It is the coolest thing ever, and Todd and I look forward to it every year. You can purchase chickens, cows, goats, water filters, even a village well, through the catalog. It is given to needy families in Asia, and it's a neat way to celebrate with your family what Christmas is really about. The prices range from a few dollars on up. If you're interested in taking a look, go to: www.gfa.org/gift. Another great one is Samaritan's Purse, they do an outreach called Operation Christmas Child. We do that every year as well, you can fill up a shoe box and designate what age and gender you'd like, and off it goes. Ella had fun with this one last year.

Bethanne is ordering 2 goats and ten chickens and four ducks for her "family" in Africa!
Now she wants to be a goat farmer so she can take care of the poor. Hmm...is there a missionary in our little family?...we'll see!
