Christmas Tree Hunting, Sort of...

For the past 13 years we have gone WAY into the woods to go Christmas tree hunting with the whole fam, but this year and last it just didn't happen for various reasons. So we headed up north to Todd's friends tree farm and chopped down a beautiful, delicious smelling tree. I miss our tradition - tromping off into the deep snow, ineveitably getting one or more cars stuck, grilling sandwiches and making soup on the camp stove on the tail gate, cocoa with extra whip, sledding....and the oh so important sparkly snow heavy on the branches of every tree. I missed it this year, but we still had fun making memories, just the 4 of us.
