Pitiful Peony

I rescued a sad, dried up, pathetic looking peony 2 summers ago. Lowe's had it on their clearance rack and I thought it was beyond help, but I figured for 5 bucks, it was worth a shot. It survived and has been so good to me, it has the most beautiful, fragrant blooms. Some of them are literally as big as Charlie's head. I usually don't buy plants in muted, pale colors, but this is still so pretty - a really pale pink that makes me think of a summer wedding. I love the bright green buds too, such a pretty contrast to the pink. The only problem is I can't quit clipping the flowers so now the actual plant in the yard doesn't look a whole lot better than it did when I bought it.
